Events Supported by CLAF
The call for requests for CLAF support for physics events and schools in Latin America is open until April 18, 2025.
The request must be submitted through the Financial Support Request Form below. The result of the analysis of the requests can be followed on the CLAF events page and will be available from May 1, 2025.
Guidelines for requesting support:
- National and international events to be held in Latin America, between June 2025 and March 2026.
- Scientific meetings or teaching schools will be considered eligible for support. Requests for support for research projects, to participate in meetings and events, or other types of individual aid will not be accepted.
- The resources granted are intended only to cover travel, accommodation, and food expenses for speakers and/or participants directly linked to scientific centers in Latin America.
- The event organizer must have their main professional affiliation with a Latin American institution.
- The support request must be submitted by the main coordinator or organizer of the event.
- The submission of previous reports will be taken into account in the case of serial events and schools, as well as the organizer's compliance with this aspect. Applicants who have not submitted reports from previous support will not be considered eligible for new aid, nor will serial events that have not previously complied with this requirement.
- Beneficiaries have one month (30 days) after the end of the event to send the academic and financial report of the aid.
- Printed or digital materials from sponsored events must contain the CLAF logo available at: http://www.claffisica.org.br/page/identidade-visual
