Registration is open until October 15 for the 10th edition of the Advanced School of Experimental Physics (EAFExp), organized by the Brazilian Center for Research in Physics (CBPF) and to be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The EAFExp will take place from February 15 to 26, 2027, and is aimed at undergraduate and graduate students in Physics and related fields from Brazil and other countries in Latin America and around the world.
Over the course of two weeks, participants will have the opportunity to engage with current topics in Physics and immerse themselves in the experimental research activities carried out in CBPF laboratories. Organized into small groups, students will take part in one of the modules offered in this edition, each structured around a different and challenging scientific project.
The projects will be developed using the experimental infrastructure, techniques, and practices of CBPF laboratories, providing participants with an experience close to the day-to-day work of experimental physics research. CBPF is a leading institution for research and scientific training in Brazil. To learn more about its activities, visit www.cbpf.br.
