RPC 2026 opens registration and abstract submission

Registration and abstract submission are now open for the XVIII International Conference on Resistive Plate Chambers and Related Detectors (RPC 2026), to be held from 14 to 18 September 2026 at the Rio de Janeiro State University (UERJ), in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
RPC 2026 is an international conference dedicated to Resistive Plate Chambers and related gaseous detector technologies, with topics covering high-energy physics and astroparticle experiments, detector instrumentation, electronics, simulation, eco-friendly gas mixtures, longevity studies, and applications beyond high-energy physics.
This edition will be especially significant as it will mark the first time the RPC Conference is held in Brazil and in South America, offering an important opportunity to strengthen Latin American participation in the field.
